I’m a 11th grader and have been homeschooled all my life. This will be my fifth semester as a member of TGIF. I love all things Marvel and Japanese Sci-Fi and have attended the Pokémon club at the library (Eldersburg) since it began about 2 years ago. I thought it would be fun for TGIF Pokemon fans to enjoy a similar type of club on Specials Day.

Well versed in creating and crafting Field trips and experiences for both small and large groups. Okay Field trips are kinda my thing. My kids and I LOVE to learn through experiences. Plus you get handwriting practice with a purpose when you write letters requesting fieldtrips and LOTS of thank you notes.
I am passionate about serving others - my kids and I do five (5+) plus service hours monthly. I want to leave a legacy for my kids and others that they are not too young to be a blessing.
I lead many service activities for American Heritage Girls - including building and delivering gift baskets to ALL the fire department and police departments in Howard County, Christmas Child Boxes and Caroling at Lorien Senior Center just to name a few.
I've dedicated myself to writing weekly letters to my kids for We Deliver as words of encouragement for teachers and fellow parents. (Can't we all use a little encouragement?)
Okay, too funny that I am so passionate about acts of service and words of affirmation BUT My love language is first QUALITY time. Just seeing the humor. Guess mama just wants my kids to get a taste of the different love languages.

I learned to FLY an airplane before I ever drove a CAR.
My husband married his highschool sweetheart (me) - - - but I didn't marry mine. (I didn't meet my hubby till I graduated from college)
My first REAL job was working in Programming at Maryland Public Television. Yep, I picked out the shows on MPT years and years ago.
I worked in Real Estate and Land Development prior to having babies.
I LOVE to learn alongside of my kids - - especially history, nature, and literature. . .okay ANYTHING I can create a fieldtrip for experiential learning. I think it is SUPER fun to imagine and create fieldtrips where there have never been fieldtrips previously.
